Chris Hoffman (he/him) is a broadcast camera operator, cinematographer, photographer, and editor, born and raised in Exton, PA.  After high school, he moved to Casselberry, FL, where he earned both his Master of Fine Arts degree in Film Production and his Bachelor of Science degree in Film at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL.  Both throughout and after his college experience, Chris has taken a creative strive to be professional as a filmmaker in many positions.

While at Full Sail, he worked on 30+ projects, including, but not limited to, the positions of editor, camera operator, lighting grip, and boom mic operator.  The one project he is most proud of is his role as the 2nd Assistant Cameraperson for his Award-Winning Master's Program's Thesis Film, New Kid In Town.  In both that production and many other productions he worked on, he has the experience of being in Hollywood-like productions in soundstages and backlots that were ready and available right on the college's campus.

After college, Chris would go on to work for many different types of companies, which allowed him to have a unique understanding of the entertainment industry.  Chris started out as a Video Production Manager for Coach Santiago at a local sporting organization in Florida, where he worked on player reels, vlogs, and even documented action going on within the organization.  Then, he would go on to work as a Temp for the Audio/Visual company, PSAV in their Orlando, FL branch.  Over there, Chris got to organize video files for Hilton Conferences produced by the company, simplifying the process of navigating through past events on hard drives.

However, in the Summer of 2019, Chris moved back to his hometown of Exton, PA.  He would continue to do filmmaking-related activities for the next 7 years.  Halfway through that time period, in 2023, he got his big break as a broadcast camera operator and simulcast operator for Delaware Park and Casino.  Chris would operate on-site cameras for the horse races in this venue for archiving and steward-reviewing purposes between 2023 and 2026.  

 

As of 2026, Chris has been living in Georgetown, DE.  He now calls the Delmarva Peninsula home, where he is doing full time photojournalism and video editing at WBOC16/FOX21 in Salisbury, MD.  Chris goes out on site to tape multiple community events and interview public figures throughout the peninsula.  On top of that, he edits several national packages that come into the studio, adjusting audio levels accordingly.

 

In an as needed basis, Chris spends the winter months working as a Field Technician for SportsMEDIA Technologies.  He carefully monitors graphics and trackers within the Philadelphia Flyers home games.

Chris plans on continuing to pursue creative routes while going through this routine.  He also has music production as a side job.
